The brief
A growing family had outgrown the rhythm of their existing home. They asked for considered, calmer rooms — a proper library, a hotel-grade main bathroom, and a connecting circulation that finally made sense. The bones of the house were good; the layout, the joinery and the finishes were not.
What we did
We re-planned the ground floor, opened the central stair, and rebuilt the wet areas from the substrate up. A floor-to-ceiling timber library with a rolling ladder anchors the home; a freestanding stone bath quietly anchors the new master suite.
- Custom-built library with rolling brass ladder
- Freestanding stone bath and full-height tile
- Reworked stair, hallway and circulation
- New joinery, stone benches and brass detailing
It feels like the house we always thought we had.
